Poplar Creek Golf Course, San Mateo, CA.

The Poplar Creek Golf Course, in the San Francisco Bay area, was originally built using existing soil of old salt marsh and mud flats.  During the winter, flooding and poor drainage would close the course for weeks at a time.  The gradual build up of additional salts from irrigation, combined with a traffic level of over a hundred thousand rounds of golf per year, had created poor agronomic conditions and the critical need for remodeling.
